The California Collaborative 

LAAAC is a part of a coalition initiative participating regularly with the California Collaborative, a Sacramento-based coalition that seeks to engage a multitude of stakeholders from the aging and disability communities at the state level. During yesterday’s monthly call, the collaborative asked if all the coalition members would revisit and discuss the Raising Expectations State Scorecard again. The Scorecard, which was highlighted in our regular e-mails, back in early October, is a comparative analysis of state Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) that was produced jointly by AARP, the Commonwealth Fund, and The SCAN Foundation. LTSS (previously referred to as “long-term care”) includes home care, adult day care, assisted living, nursing homes, respite care, and supports for family caregivers.
