PP&AR Explores Recommendations from Federal Commission on Long-Term Care

The latest issue of Public Policy & Aging Report (PP&AR) outlines a policy prescription for a sustainable system of LTSS using the Federal Commission on Long-Term Care’s 2013 final report as its base.  Two of the eight articles can be accessed without a subscription:

  • Bruce Chernof and Mark Warshawsky, Chair and Co-Chair of the Commission, call for LTSS to be a major element of the 2015 White House Conference on Aging;
  • Larry Atkins advocates for new mechanisms and incentives for individuals and families to prepare for LTSS expenses.
