Researchers Confront an Epidemic of Loneliness

ICYMI: There was a good article featured in the New York Times this week by which we’d like to share with you because it speaks to the importance of our work at LAAAC.

It deals with issues of loneliness, depression and sociability among the aging community. 

Social isolation is linked to physical illness and to functional and cognitive decline.

Also, programs designed to help the aging community are growing, particularly in Britain, which is good news for LAAAC to hear, in terms of advocacy and outreach.
