This year, LAAAC is most thankful for you
It has been an eventful couple of weeks, hasn’t it? That’s why we wanted to take a moment before we sit down to Thanksgiving dinner with our loved ones to send this quick post of thanks:
This year, one of the things LAAAC is most thankful for is you.
Thanks to the tireless, years-long support from our leadership, staff members, interns, policy experts, constituents, volunteers and aging advocates like you; with you help we are certainly achieving a more unified voice for seniors.
We know that access to knowledge, resources, information and tips is one of the most effective ways to ensure that everyone in the aging community and aging service network has what they need to thrive.
With that in mind, the California Health Report published an op-ed by Dr. Karen Lincoln about the caregiving crisis among African Americans and how California is beginning to take steps to address what is predicted to only grow worse.
