Health Network Alert

Older adults rely on Medicaid, Medicare, and programs under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to get the health care they need. As Congress begins work to repeal the ACA, it’s important to understand how changes to the ACA will dramatically alter these programs, jeopardizing the care seniors rely on to stay healthy.

Because of the ACA, more older adults can remain in their homes, save money on prescription drugs, and get health insurance coverage. We’ve put together a short fact sheet that shows just how an ACA repeal would harm older adults across the country, and a separate fact sheet that shows how California seniors would be impacted.

Please use them in your advocacy and share them broadly.
