COVER/AGE Premiere

Dear Partners:

We have some exciting news to share with you.

CIPC’s new short documentary, COVER/AGE will premiere at the Downtown Independent in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 20th. I want to personally invite you to join us for what promises to be an inspiring evening.

COVER/AGE follows two community members in the fight to get tens of thousands of undocumented elders healthcare coverage through Medi-Cal. While Emma and Héctor highlight the strength and tenacity of the #Healthcare4All movement, they also embody the intimate nature of this fight by bravely sharing their own personal stories.

This community premiere will be followed by a panel discussion with guests—including the stars of COVER/AGE—and refreshments. This is an opportunity to bear witness and understand firsthand what’s at stake in this fight. Meet and build with us and those who are  committed to quality healthcare for all!

I really hope you will join us for this momentous event!

You can RSVP for the community premiere here and please remember to share with your networks. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to dtongue@caimmigrant.org if you have any questions.

P.S Check out COVER/AGE filmmaker and CIPC’s very own Impact Producer Set Hernandez Rongkilyo on the North Bay Report  sharing the importance of leading with stories, the value of keeping immigrants and undocumented folks at the helm of our growing movement, and what we can do next!
