As a member of the Los Angeles Aging Advocacy Coalition, you will be joining a collective alliance established to inform, educate and engage on up-to-date legislation information, and provide professional networking opportunities that empower advocacy efforts for seniors in Los Angeles County.

As a Coalition member, you commit to:

  • Promote advocacy efforts within our organization, among Board members, staff, clients, their families, volunteers and the community at large.
  • Engage in mutual exchanges of information with other Coalition members
  • Participate in Coalition activities, including calls, meetings, and outreach efforts
  • Contribute to the Coalition’s operating costs

LAAAC commits to:

  • Act as an advocate and conduit to influence public policy in the field of aging
  • Lead strategy development and coordination of implementation efforts
  • Educate and inform around the issues
  • Maintain information flow and networking opportunities, both internally and externally.
